Well hello there,
No I have not died, I apologise for the radio silence on my end. It's safe to say life has been pretty hectic and I'm loving every second. We are currently facing the brunt of Hurricane Irma here in South Carolina, which means classes are cancelled and hurricane parties are the current thang. Facebook memories popped up and reminded me that today one year ago I released my first ever blog post and the Fields of Harper family began. Look how far we have come. I was planning to release a South Carolina blog post, but if anyone knows me well they know birthdays are kinda my thang. So, instead I thought I would have a lil reminisce and post favourite photos from each of my shoots. 36 blog posts, that is 36 different outfits and 36 different adventures. I've changed it up a little because I feel the words here are kind of important. So I've put the photos below :) I've had ups and downs, struggled to capture content, struggled to afford content, struggled with time pressures but all in all I've survived. I've produced some epic content and I am so proud of not only myself but everyone who has helped and supported me in this journey. My photographers, my hairdresser and obviously my friends and family, I couldn't have done it without you.
Looking back at some of my questionable outfit choices it is safe to say I have definitely grown a lot, and am way more confident in my personal style. I used to be so desperate to find outfits that worked I'd shoot anything, regardless if I was super obsessed with it. Don't get me wrong at the time I liked the outfit, but now I'm all about the other l word, which means I'm way more picky. What I post is me, raw and real and these days pretty much unedited because I'm riding it solo and my editing goes as far as a filter and no further.
I'm still pumping out a decent amount of Youtube content, but I always knew that I was going to struggle to produce fashion based blog posts while I am here. I am well and truely sick of all the clothes I have with me. I am however, waiting on some online orders to arrive, so hopefully I will be feeling re-inspired shortly. But for right now, I'm just trying to enjoy this experience for what it is and enjoy and make the most of every opportunity, which means I don't have a lot of down time to spend shooting and writing.
I'll be back with you as soon as I can be.
Thank you for your continued support.
Lots of Love,
