Firstly, can we please just recognise the talent that came together to make me look half decent for this shoot. I am so obsessed with the results of the shoot, so different from anything I have ever produced, in terms of mood and style. I mentioned in my last post my beautiful hairdresser Krystle who created this look, but I will give you all the links again in case you missed it.
The stunning photography is as usual by ma gal Sam. Here are her links as well because I am living for her work too www.instagram.com/samanthaspannraar/?hl=en%5D.
So by now any of my social media followers out there will have heard my BIG announcement. I've been teasing you for months and I can say it is time to reveal all. I am officially a student brand manager for Princess Polly. For any of my loyal peeps you will understand just how exciting and important this is to me. I spent Wednesday night and Thursday this week at Burleigh with their team and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life, I have to thank them so so much for this opportunity, and I learnt so much. I won't spoil all the deets though, because there is a vlog on my Youtube channel (youtu.be/8HTsvek6jms) so you can see what went down there. Plus I think I'm going to do a designated blog post just about that experience so stay tuned for that.
But let's get down to business. This little get up. Probably my favourite look of the lot. Ooh actually that is a big call, I think I love them all equally. The star of the show is obviously this jacket. Legit about 2 nights before the shoot I was thinking about all my outfits and felt as if something was just missing. I hit up my usual sources of inspo, I am currently living for www.instagram.com/wethe_wildones/?hl=en%5D and I came across the Someday Lovin pink fluffy jacket. So I decided I needed to have it in my life, and just my luck it was sold out everywhere, and I mean everywhere. I hit up the for sale pages of Brisbane, and girls advice. I tried Glassons who had a similar style and they had all been taken off the floor. Then finally, my prayers were answered and the night before the shoot I found a girl on for sale who had not the exact jacket I was after, but a very similar one. It is more of a purple but it gave me the effect I was after. I am so glad I made the effort, because I honestly don't think I would have loved this outfit as much without it, plus I definitely would have been one frozen gal. Don't get me wrong the outfit without the jacket is still prime, but this jacket is just so bomb it lifts everything to a whole other level. Pairing it with this hair too, just gives the best vibes.
This little bodysuit is also a goodie. I'm a big fan of strapless but I hardly own anything that proves my claim. This bad boy is Beginning Boutique and it just tied the whole look together. I know I say this all the time but you can actually dress this up of down so easily. It works perfectly with denim in all forms or you could put it with a leather skirt, or a classy white skirt. Did someone say outfit options?
My pretty little layered necklaces are from Sportsgirl, and I can confirm I have been wearing them to death. I have been looking for this style of bling for awhile but everything I found didn't particularly meet with my budget. I was stoked when I found a budget option. You can't really see their amazingness in these pictures, but my bts video (www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMSs8bMM6Is) shows it off a bit better.
I've just got a random pair of shorts on I believe they are Princess Polly, surprise surprise, and the belt you've all seen before, it is Princess Polly as well.
Well I'm going to sign off here. I hope you all enjoyed this post. I'll speak to you all soon.
Lots of Love,
