As promised, here is part two. I'm currently online hunting for new clothing and I am stuck on the same sites. People pls help me, what are your favourite online stores? I feel like I have all these ideas for outfits, but I can't really find exactly what I am after, everything just slightly misses the mark. In saying that, on my current favourite online stores I've got wish lists ages long.
I thought I would briefly talk about some tips and tricks on budgeting your outfits, while still talking about this outfit. My love for clothing is very much bigger than my budget. I also am running out of storage space in my room, all my cupboards and drawers are crammed full, a big clean out is definitely in order. Whenever I have this problem (which is fairly often) I clean out everything I don't wear and take it to a suitcase rummage, which is a great way to make some money back on your preloved clothes. I then am very strict on myself and anything that doesn't sell I donate to charity straight away to avoid the temptation to bring it back home with me. Suitcase rummages are also an excellent way to find new pieces at highly discounted prices.
The majority of what I wanted to say about this two piece I unloaded on you all last week. However I will just again point out its versatility. By removing the jacket and adding accessories (a belt, earrings and some rings), I feel like it completely changes this look. This is so key to purchases you make. If an item can be reworn and worn in different ways it lengthens the longevity of the outfit, and saves you the money that you would spend on a new outfit. I remember back in the day, I refused to wear an item of clothing more than once to an event. As I've gotten older (and started paying for my own clothes), as much as I would still love to do this, I've realised that this is not a sustainable way to live for me. It has made me get much more creative with the way I wear and look at clothing that's for sure. If you can build up a wardrobe of versatile and basic clothing (this saves cupboard space as well) you'll be able to stretch your outfits way further.
Anyways, I will chat to you all very soon.
Lots of Love,
P.S. I have been holding back a special little project that I've spent so much time working on. It will be being released very very soon and I am so excited to share my work with you all.
