I am officially 22, a year older and some would say a year wiser. I don't know about that though, I think I am very much still trying to figure out who I am, what I want with my life, and how to adult. Currently I feel like I'm trying on different shades of Tessa and waiting for one to stick. I think I'm starting to realise that honestly no one really has their lives together, no one knows what they are doing, there is no manual or set of rules for life, we all just fake it and hope that one day it will fall into place. Therefore, as my new and more mature 22 year old self I'm going to work on setting goals and trying to figure out what I want to achieve. I think a sort of bucket list is in order and I'll let you know how I go with it.
Anyway enough about me, lets talk clothing. I noticed that pretty much every single one of my looks these days has some element of Princess Polly. So I thought I would use this series of outfits as a little Princess Polly look book. I will leave all the Princess Polly links to the items I am wearing below so you can get your hands on them. Here we go, the first look of five. We have not one but two Princess Polly goodies in this look. The shorts and the belt. These shorts are new to my wardrobe and they are awesome. I really get around the frayed edging and I love that the back of them is longer so they actually cover everything. I got a size too big so that they would be a slightly bigger fit making them not only more comfortable but also giving them and oversized look at the waist when I am not wearing a belt. I do however tend to belt them so that they sit high waisted instead of falling towards my hips. This belt has been my favourite for years, and was the first belt I ever bought that I actually have worn. Belts are essential to my life as my waist is quite small and then I have this big ghetto booty out of nowhere, so sizing can be difficult for me when I purchase any bottoms. Would definitely recommend picking up one of these belts as they are an absolute essential to any wardrobe and go with everything.
This bodysuit isn't Princess Polly but it is one of my favs, I really like the mesh detailing and for me I think it makes this outfit the a perfect festival look. Quick tip with the layered chokers, the silver chain is actually quite long, I just threaded it through the tight choker to keep it in place and pulled the chain to hang down my back until I reached the length that I wanted. Resulting in a nice little layered look.
Okay I'll end here since I feel like that was such a long blog and I don't want to bore you all. I hope everyone is having a good week and I will talk to you all soon.
Lots of Love,
