Happy Thursday, I hope everyone has had a superb week so far. I have seen so many bloggers posting Valentine's Day looks and tributes which is awesome, but as I mentioned on Instagram that is not really my thing so I'm going to stick with a normal blog post. Some people may call me cynical or I've been known to be called a cold hearted bitch, but at the end of the day I am just not a romantic person, or I haven't found the right guy to change my ways yet. I am way too good at being single and I am totally okay with that. So much pressure is put on people my age but at the end of the day in my opinion we are at such an awkward age, we are too old to be messing around and too young to be in a serious relationship (nothing wrong if you are doing either of those things) and I am not really one for casual so I am just enjoying Tessa time for as long as I can. However in saying that for all you hopeless romantics out there I hope you had the most magical Valentine's Day with the ones you love.
Okay rant over, maybe this did turn into a slight Valentine's Day thing, but anyway let's do this. Surprisingly this little crop is very V Day appropriate and not from Princess Polly but from another of my favs Dissh Boutiques. It is way girlier than my usual style but I kind of love it. I would even go as far as saying it is the perfect Summer/Spring top. I can probably count 2 or 3 items in my closet that are floral, as I usually stay so clear of anything floral. The pattern on this crop is so subtle though, it doesn't scream flowers. I think the ruching really adds to the whole look as well, and the little off the shoulder sleeves are super cute, however they do slightly restrict your movement.
Now as promised I will continue with my Princess Polly love affair. If you're a loyal reader you will know that my perfect vintage mom jeans are from Princess Polly, I also picked up this Minc Collection choker from Princess Polly. The jeans I won't go into much detail about since you have already heard way too much about them. This choker however is love. It is quite different from any other chokers I own, and instantly lifts an outfit. I wasn't particularly feeling this look until I added the choker and it completely changed it for me. Which proves that it really is in the details, accessories can make or break an outfit, so choose wisely.
That is all from me, enjoy the rest of your week and have a stellar weekend :)
Lots of Love,
